Upazila Social Service Office Bhaluka Atra Upazila is working tirelessly to strengthen the social safety net with comprehensive and versatile programs in the welfare and development of the poor, neglected, backward, poor, orphans, autistic and disabled people and the backward people of the society at the grass root level. Working tirelessly for the implementation of various national and international charters or conventions including the United Nations. The United Nations is playing an active role in the implementation of the Charter of Universal Human Rights, the Charter of the Rights of the Child, the Charter of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, etc. Initially working with the Welfare Approach, but currently the Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda is taking new activities with the Right Based and Empowerment Approach. Upazila Social Service Office Tarakanda is extending the reach of services to the target population by implementing a significant number of development projects and programs and setting an unparalleled example of public-private partnership (limited government assistance to projects undertaken by private enterprises). The Department has a vested interest in conducting advocacy activities through the celebration of various nationally and internationally recognized days and years. Above all, all the activities undertaken by the government for the Ministry of Social Welfare and Department of Social Services are being carried out diligently.
