The Probation of Offenders Ordinance, 1960, Registration and Control Ordinance, 1961, Vagrants and Destitute Persons (Rehabilitation) Act, 2011, Children Act, 2013, Rights and Protection of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2006 to bring various programs under institutional and sustainable status and state responsibility. It has been responsible for the formulation and implementation of a significant number of laws and policies, including the Special Benefits Act for women incarcerated in prisons.
